Youth Ministry

Every local church is encouraged to have a Men’s Ministry that meets at least once a week for Bible study and, where possible, recreation.

Leadership

Every church is encouraged to appoint a Youth Elder and Youth Leader. Youth leaders should demonstrate exceptional character, humility, willingness to learn and teach, and a faith that is evident in daily life. They should be capable of representing the church locally and abroad.

Goals and Activities

  • Raise youths who are passionate about Christ, socially responsible, and influential in schools, universities, and communities.

  • Foster unity, individual talents, and social engagement through sports, education, and creative activities.

  • Provide guidance on health, dating, work ethics, personal hygiene, sex education, technology, music, and prayerful living.

  • Teach soul-winning and discipleship through the “each-one-teach-one” principle.

  • Sponsor attendance at regional and international youth events to share experiences with peers.

  • Organize annual youth conferences with worship, teaching, and evangelism opportunities.

  • Encourage youth exchanges between groups locally, nationally, and internationally.

We hope to put in place youth spaces equipped with internet, TVs, tripods, musical instruments, indoor games, computers, Bibles, and other Christian literature, welcoming opportunities for skill development, educational growth, and spiritual enrichment.

Youth Centers and Vocational Training

Where feasible, youth centers provide vocational training at minimal cost, dormitory facilities, and coeducational learning environments. Programs may include nursing, carpentry, computer skills, automotive maintenance, photography, Bible study, administration, and more. Centers also serve as venues for seminars and holiday programs. An education committee will oversee programs and operational standards.
