Supporting Orphans and Vulnerable Children
FREM is committed to supporting children who lack caregivers or family support. Through orphanages, crisis centers, and rehabilitation programs, we hope to provide safe, nurturing environments that foster growth, education, and Christian values.
House of Love
FREM plans to establish House of Love to serve and care for children who have been displaced, starting with a goal of 60 children. We hope to secure land, to accommodate housing, classrooms, recreation, and gardens.
Children will grow in a loving Christian environment, with plans to provide meals, education, health care, clothing, toys, and spiritual guidance.
The Need in Cameroon
Cameroon faces major challenges for children. According to UNICEF:
An estimated 1.4 million children are orphaned (2020), accounting for approximately 10% of the country’s child population.
Over 2.1 million people are displaced , either as Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), returnees or refugees, due to violence or natural disasters.
Around 40 percent of IDPs live in the far north and the rest in the north-west and south-west regions.
47.5 percent live in multi-dimensional poverty
These challenges underscore the urgent need for FREM’s planned programs.
Our History and Future Goals
Over the years, FREM has provided clothes and toys to children in the Metro Atlanta Area and Cameroon and supported a local orphanage initiatives.
We hope to expand our programs to include crisis centers and rehabilitation for vulnerable women and youth, offering skills training, spiritual guidance, and structured support.
Supporting This Mission
We aim to establish a dedicated fund and welcome public support (financial, in-kind, ngo partnerships or volunteering) to help turn these plans into reality and provide hope and opportunity to vulnerable children.
